Ok, I am righteously irritated. I have been catching up on news, reading blogs and sifting through the Democratic National Convention website for hours. (I am now reminded that I do actually love what I do...hence reading massive amounts of political analysis for hours without realizing the time...).


So, why am I so irritated that I had to share? I went to my beloved google and typed, "Democratic National Convention." What did it come up with?

Ok, so that's a little small. If you look closely you will see that when you search for "Democratic National Convention," the sponsored links are only "Democratic Convention."

Now, search for "Republican National Convention." You get this:

Republicans are first, I grant you that, but the democrats are right below it. How come you search for demos and get just them, but you search republicans and you get both? I suppose I can't fault google--the demos probably paid to have their page show up for both...but still...come on Republicans! Don't let them dominate!! So what if they have more money and more internet-using-supporters, we can sponser links for both tooo!

Ah...the injustice of the internet.
