Ok, so here I am at school, scanning the news like the good-little-government-teacher that I am, and Drudgereport has this headline: "Oregon school says 4 confessed to Obama effigy."
I find this: NEWBERG, Ore. (AP)--I'm thinking, uh oh... - A Christian university in Oregon said Tuesday it has punished four students who confessed to hanging a likeness of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama from a tree on campus.

I got several emails about this. Apparently, GFU took it really hard...I honestly took it as some kids no liking Obama. It's crazy, huh?!
Yeah, pretty lame. Oregon's really on a roll... apparently, due to a computer error, some old guy in a hospital was told that his diagnosis was "pregnancy"...

oh man... i know, i read all about it... my brother's girlfriend received the act 6 scholarship and has commented for several news sources.
but it's soooooo ridiculous. i feel like it was a silly prank that should be dealt with but it was completely blown out of proportion... it's embarrassing how big they've made it... as though it was somehow representative of the entire fox community... come on. arghhh...
